On Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 3:00 PM ET, the National Training and Technical Assistance Center (NTTAC) of the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) will host a 60-minute webinar entitled, "Trauma: A Reoccuring Theme in Girls' Lives."
This webinar will focus on the process of healing from trauma and the need for gender-responsive and trauma-informed services. It will present the guiding principles of gender-responsive services and the core values of trauma-informed care. These are particularly important guidelines for juvenile justice settings serving girls, who face unique challenges along the road to healthy development.
