What Does JJDPA Reauthorization Mean for Kids?

19 Tue
February 2019

On Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at 2:00 PM EST, the National Juvenile Justice Network will host a webinar entitled, "What Does JJDPA Reauthorization Mean for Kids?."

The new law strengthens the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act's (JJDPA) core protections for youth and makes other significant improvements that reflect new developments that have taken place in youth justice since it was last reauthorized in 2002.

The webinar speakers, Naomi Smoot, Executive Director of the Coalition for Juvenile Justice, and Rachel Marshall, Federal Policy Counsel with the Campaign for Youth Justice, worked closely with Congress to get the bill passed and will help you to navigate and understand the many changes in the law.
