On February 7, 2014, from 2 to 5 p.m. ET, the Federal Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice (FACJJ) will hold a Webinar as a continuation of the FACJJ meeting that commenced on December 9, 2013. The agenda for this online meeting will include remarks from OJJDP Administrator Robert L. Listenbee and presentations and discussion on the National Academy of Sciences report “Reforming Juvenile Justice: A Developmental Approach,” the Supportive School Discipline Initiative of the U.S. Departments of Justice and Education, and FACJJ’s future role and activities. Composed of members of state advisory groups on juvenile justice, the committee advises the President and Congress on matters related to juvenile justice, evaluates the progress and accomplishments of juvenile justice activities and projects, and advises the Administrator on the work of OJJDP.
