On February 24, 2014, at 2 p.m. ET, the Center on Youth Justice at the Vera Institute of Justice will present the 1-hour Webinar “Engaging Stakeholders in Status Offense Reform.” Presenters will discuss ways that local jurisdictions can encourage schools, law enforcement, and courts to reform their responses to youth status offenses—such as truancy or running away—to prevent juvenile justice system intervention. This is the first Webinar in a series on status offense reform.
