Webinar To Discuss Status Offense System Reform

29 Tue
July 2014

On July 29, 2014, at 1 p.m. ET, the Vera Institute of Justice will present “Planning and Implementing Status Offense System Change.” This 1-hour Webinar will focus on module 3 of its “Toolkit for Status Offense System Reform.” Presenters will discuss how local jurisdictions can plan and implement system change in their responses to youth status offenses, such as truancy or running away, to prevent juvenile justice system intervention. The Webinar will feature the experiences of two jurisdictions—Connecticut and Campbell County, KY—and address the key challenges each overcame to design their system reform.
